Static vertical double pay-off systems for low, medium and high carbon steel wires in coils or spools, for non-stop operation. Modular construction with support structure made of steel sections with single or double working sides. Each wire has two unwinding positions where the coils are placed; the wire payoff flyer is positioned over the coils. It is equipped with wire deflecting pulleys, an adjustable mechanical brake and is installed on a swinging arm which is integral with the structure. The shifting from one coil to the other occurs via a pneumatic cylinder. It is complete with guide pulleys which are positioned along the structure to direct the wires to the treatment plant as well as an access walkway to facilitate insertion operations.
