This type of machine has been designed for products requiring superfinishing which can’t be obtained by the traditional centreless machines.
The pieces to be worked are locked on their ends by tailstocks and mops, working longitudinally to the piece axis, cross the marks of the previous working, by providing a faster and accurate finishing.
One of the main advantages is that the machine is applicable for workpieces of round, rectangular, elliptical and oval section.
The machine is available in different versions, for working tubes with a maximum length of 6 meters and for tubes with a maximum length of 3 meters. It is also possible to manufacture a machine with only 2 working stations.
Polishing, grinding mops are equipped with an automatic supply system for liquid or solid abrasive compounds.
The working cycle is electronically controlled by Siemens S7 PLC.
