Level winders from ASMAG for the coiling of copper and aluminium tubes are characterized by a high coiling speed, short set-up times and automatic adjustment of the coil width. Line speeds of up to 500 m/min are possible. The first level of the coil is wound up fully-automated without any intervention from the operator. This has a decisive effect on the improvement of the occupational safety of the operator. The ultra-dynamic control of the system also permits exact winding of the tube product. ASMAG level winders can be equipped with an automated stacking system for level wound coils.
